Desmond Bernard O'Connor (Londres, 12 de enero de 1932 - Ibidem, 14 de noviembre de 2020) fue un comediante, cantante y presentador de televisión británico. Fue un presentador de programas de televisión durante mucho tiempo, comenzando con The Des O'Connor Show en 1963, que duró diez años.

Des O'Connor. Brought up on Northampton where he had his first job and played football for Northampton Town. He joined the RAF and on completing his service became a Butlin Redcoat and began to learn the rudiments of comedy which led him to become a professional.
'Entertains' featured Des singing ( ahem! ), dancing, and doing comedy, often with big names as guest stars. A regular item 'Dandy Sandy' spoofed the 'Watch With Mother' children's show 'Andy Pandy', with Des as 'Dandy', the late Sir Harry Secombe as 'Teddy', and, if you can believe it, Britt Ekland as 'Looby Loo'!
