  6. Donald Angus Cameron of Lochiel, the 27th Chief of Clan Cameron, passed away on October 20, 2023. His son and heir Donald Andrew Cameron stated "It comes as a great shock but we are comforted by the fact that he died peacefully at Achnacarry in his sleep. We have been up at Clunes all week so saw him a lot and he was in good form and very happy."
