Georg Donatus, Hereditary Grand Duke of Hesse (Georg Donatus Wilhelm Nikolaus Eduard Heinrich Karl, 8 November 1906 – 16 November 1937) was the first child of Ernest Louis, Grand Duke of Hesse, and his second wife, Princess Eleonore of Solms-Hohensolms-Lich.

A great-grandson of Victor Emmanuel III of Italy, he is named in part after Georg Donatus, Hereditary Grand Duke of Hesse. He is also a descendant of Queen Victoria, Frederick III, German Emperor, and of King Nicholas I of Montenegro. He is a relative of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, whose funeral he attended.

Donatus, Romulus, Secundian, and 86 Companions (died c. 304) were a group of Christians who were martyred at Concordia Sagittaria (at the time called Iulia Concordia ), near Venice, during the Diocletianic Persecution. Their feast day is celebrated on February 17.
