William Henry Cavendish Cavendish-Bentinck, 3rd Duke of Portland, KG, PC, FRS (14 April 1738 – 30 October 1809) was a British Whig and then a Tory politician during the late Georgian era. He served as chancellor of the University of Oxford (1792–1809) and as Prime Minister of Great Britain (1783) and then of the United Kingdom (1807–1809).
William John Arthur Charles James Cavendish-Bentinck, 6th Duke of Portland, KG, GCVO, GCStJ, TD, PC, DL (28 December 1857 – 26 April 1943), known as William Cavendish-Bentinck until 1879, was a British landowner, courtier, and Conservative politician. He notably served as Master of the Horse between 1886 and 1892 and again between 1895 and 1905.
William Cavendish-Bentinck, 7. Duke of Portland (* 16. März 1893; † 21. März 1977) ⚭ 1915 Ivy Gordon-Lennox (1887–1982); Lord Francis Morven Dallas Cavendish-Bentinck (* 27. Juli 1900; † 22. Lady Frances Bentinck (9 April 1741 – March 1743) Lord Edward Charles Cavendish-Bentinck (3 March 1744 – 8 October 1819), married Elizabeth Cumberland (d. 1837) Portland died in May 1762, aged 53, was buried at Westminster Abbey. He was succeeded in the dukedom by his eldest son William, who became Prime Minister of Great Britain.
