What are the uniforms of the Officers, Standard Bearers and Drummers of the 8th Rhindbund (Micklenburg-Strelitz) Battalion? Thanking you in advance for any information. Hace 4 días · The Mecklenburg Regiment comprised 2 battalions from the Schwerin forces (1st & 2nd) and one from Strelitz (3rd); together they formed the 7th Rheinbund-Regiment – not the 8th. The Schwerin battalions were transferred from 1st Corps to 9th Corps from 3 September 1812 & then to 3rd Corps on 4 November 1812. gavandjosh02. 12 May 2024 7:28 p.m. PST.
Hace 1 día · Neustrelitz blieb bis 1918 Herzogssitz und war von 1918 bis 1933 Landeshauptstadt des Freistaates Mecklenburg-Strelitz. Das ehemals prächtige Schloss mit baulicher Anlehnung an die Versailler und Charlottenburger Anlagen brannte leider 1945 ab. Zu sehen ist aber noch die sternförmige, barocke Anlage der Stadt mit ihrem großen Marktplatz.
