Duke Peter Alexandrovich of Oldenburg died at the age of 55 on March 21, 1924, in Antibes, France, and was buried in the crypt of St. Michael the Archangel Russian Orthodox Church in Cannes, France. Family. Anton Gunther Friedrich Elimar was a child of Augustus, Grand Duke of Oldenburg and his third wife, Princess Cecilia of Sweden, daughter of King Gustav IV Adolf of Sweden.
