14 de may. de 2024 · Mecklenburg: Born 22 April 1910. Duke Friedrich Franz was the heir apparent to the throne of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, which his father abdicated on 14 November 1918. He was the eldest son of the reigning Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Frederick Francis IV, and his wife Princess Alexandra of Hanover, a daughter of the Crown Prince of Hanover.

She grew up with her father, and later also her stepmother Princess Elisabeth zu Stolberg-Rossla, in a private house in Bad Doberan, Mecklenburg.
