Charles Edward (Leopold Charles Edward George Albert; [note 1] 19 July 1884 – 6 March 1954) was the last sovereign duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, reigning from 30 July 1900 to 14 November 1918, and later was a Nazi politician. His parents were Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany, and Princess Helen of Waldeck and Pyrmont.
