Ebba Magnusdotter Brahe (16 March 1596 – 5 January 1674) was a Swedish countess, landowner, and courtier. She is foremost known for being the love object of King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden, and because he wished to marry her prior to his marriage, plans which were however never realized.

1596-03-16 — 1674-01-05. Countess, property owner, factory owner. Ebba Brahe was a countess and a manager of property holdings and industrial enterprises. She was also politically influential. Ebba Brahe was the only child of Brita Leijonhufvud and Magnus Brahe.

On a small island in the river near the old works is a romantic summerhouse, painted pink and built in the style of an octagonal pavilion. Carrying Ebba Brahe’s name, it is the oldest summerhouse in the country—built in 1636, according to the date on the weather vane.
