  4. He was one of the ten children and the fourth of the sons of Edward Henry Lee and his wife Charlotte Fitzroy. His father was created Viscount Quarendon and Earl of Lichfield just before his marriage. George's mother was a natural daughter of Charles II and Barbara Villiers.

  5. Biography. Son of Sir Francis Henry Lee, 4th Baronet of Quarendon and his wife Lady Elizabeth Pope, daughter of Thomas Pope, 2nd Earl of Downe. Edward Lee was Fifth Baronet of Ditchley and of Quarendon. At age 10 he was created Earl of Lichfield. He was also Viscount Quarendon and Baron Spelsbury.
