  1. Elizabeth Calvert. Eleanor Calvert Custis Stuart (1753 – September 28, 1811), born Eleanor Calvert, was a prominent member of the wealthy Calvert family of Maryland. Upon her marriage to John Parke Custis, she became the daughter-in-law of Martha Dandridge Custis Washington and the step-daughter-in-law of George Washington.

  2. When Jacky Custis reached maturity, he married Eleanor Calvert, with whom he had four children. He died in 1781 and his wife remarried the Alexandria physician David Stuart in 1783. Eleanor had four sisters, Ann, Sarah, Ariana, and Rosalie, two brothers, William and Charles, and was the step-sister of Elizabeth, Martha, Eleanor, and George Washington Parke Custis, the grandchildren of George and Martha Washington.
