  4. Elena Petrović-Njegoš. Elena of Montenegro, or Jelena Petrović Njegoš, was born in Cettigne (Cetinje) on January 8, 1873. She is the sixth daughter of King Nicholas I of Montenegro and Milena Vukotić. Cettigne was then the modest capital of Montenegro, in fact it was little more than a mountain village, inhabited by shepherds.
