Elizabeth Carew Biography Elizabeth, Lady Carew (born around 1500) was an English courtier during the reign of Henry VIII. Her husband was Henry VIII's close friend Sir Nicholas Carew, an influential statesman who was eventually executed for criticising the king. She was possibly a mistress of Henry VIII.
Brief Life History of Elizabeth. Thomas came to New England about 1633 with his wife Elizabeth and apparently several children. He was probably born about 1683 although a christening record for Thomas has never been found. His will written in 1665 indicated he was about 82 years old, which gives us an estimated birth year of about 1583.
Elizabeth married Sir Thomas Lewknor of South Mimms, Hertfordshire, son of Sir Roger Lewknor and Margaret Carew, after 1420. (Sir Thomas Lewknor of South Mimms, Hertfordshire was born before 8 Sep 1392 1 2 and died in 1452 3 .)

Brief Life History of Robert Edward. When Sir Robert Edward Drury was born in 1540, in Boyle, County Roscommon, Ireland, his father, Edmund Drury, was 16 and his mother, Jane Trenchard, was 19. He married Lady Elizabeth Carew in 1579, in County Carlow, Ireland. They were the parents of at least 10 sons and 5 daughters.
