Elizabeth Keith (30 April 1887 – 1956) was a Scottish artist and writer. She was a print-maker and watercolorist whose works were significantly influenced by her travels to Japan, China, Korea and the Philippines.

15 de jun. de 2018 · This chapter has re-evaluated the works of Elizabeth Keith as political efforts against Japanese colonial violence in Korea and the advance of militarism in Japan in the context of the intellectual movement during the Taishō period and its vestiges during the Shōwa period.
Under Watanabe's tutelage, Keith produced over one hundred signed woodblock prints that gained popularity in Japan, Europe and the United States. Upon her return to England in 1924, Keith received acclaim as a watercolorist and printmaker. She became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
