  4. Elizabeth Trevannion was born in 1563, presumably in Caerhayes Castle, in Cornwall. Like many Elizabethan women, she married young. She was only sixteen or seventeen years old, when she moved to Northumbria, as the bride of Henry Widdrington of Widdrington Castle.

They were first cousins, with Robert's mother Anne, being the elder sister of Sybilla.
