The Bohun Book of Hours and Psalter features the crests of three noble families corresponding to the life story of Elizabeth de Bohun, Countess of Northampton. Richly illuminated and featuring expert calligraphy, the manuscript and its elaborate ornamentation exemplifies only the countess’ later life.

He held Elizabeth's lands until his death, when they passed to their son, Humphrey. Research Note. As well as being the mother of Richard de Arundel's 1st wife, Elizabeth was also the great-grandmother of his 2nd wife, Philippa de Mortimer.
Secondly, wife of Sir William de Bohun, son of Sir Humphrey de Bohun and Elizabeth of England, the daughter of King Edward I. They were married by papal dispensation dated 13 Nov 1335, being related in the 4th degree, and had one son, Sir Humphrey, Earl of Hereford and Essex, and one daughter, Elizabeth, who married Sir Richard de Arundel.
