Emmanuel Graf von Mensdorff-Pouilly (24 January 1777 – 28 June 1852) was an army officer in the Imperial-Royal Army of the Austrian Empire, and vice-governor of Mainz. He was the uncle of Queen Victoria and the godfather of her husband, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha .

His sons Albert and Emmanuel changed the family name to Mensdorff-Pouilly, which refers to a village in the county of Roussy in Luxembourg. In 1818, Emmanuel von Mensdorff-Pouilly received a comital title from the Austrian Emperor, and he was recognized as noble in Bohemia (the Inkolat) in 1839.

In 1838 Emmanuel Mensdorff-Pouilly purchased the dominion and castle Preitenstein, which today is known as Castle Nectiny and is located in the western part of the Czech Republic. Emmanuel markedly fixed and improved the estate and this estate stayed in the family’s possession until 1945.
