English Martyrs' is a Catholic Primary in the West End of Newcastle. We currently have 470 pupils on roll from Nursery to Year 6. We are a warm, friendly Catholic school where the staff, Governors and parish community work together to provide a caring and safe environment in which children thrive.
The English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College has a long and rich legacy of serving the community of Hartlepool, providing high quality Catholic education and pastoral care for nearly 50 years.

History of the school with thanks to the English Martyrs' history group and their 4-volume history of the parish - "A Red Brick Church" Our current building on Dee Road was opened in 1962, but the school was actually established in 1957.
