Outside the church were tens of onlookers, including several of my royalty friends. There were also several representatives of the media.

As such, he was Consort of the British monarch from their marriage on 10 February 1840, until his death in 1861. He received the unique title of Prince Consort in 1857 from his wife.

Hace 6 días · The walls of Lehzen’s house were covered with portraits of her beloved Victoria. Louise Lehzen died in Bückeburg on 9 September 1870, aged 85. She is buried in the Jetenburger cemetery. The erection of a memorial in neo-gothic style was ordered by Queen Victoria and reminds visitors of the cemetery of Louise Lehzen until today.
