Ernst Moritz Arndt (Gross Schoritz, Rügen, Alemania, 26 de diciembre de 1769 - Bonn, Alemania, 29 de enero de 1860) fue un poeta, nacionalista y autor alemán. Arndt nació en la isla de Rügen, bajo el dominio del rey sueco que era también duque de Pomerania .
Ernst Moritz Arndt (26 December 1769 – 29 January 1860) was a German nationalist historian, writer and poet. Early in his life, he fought for the abolition of serfdom, later against Napoleonic dominance over Germany. Arndt had to flee to Sweden for some time due to his anti-French positions.

Ernst Moritz Arndt (born Dec. 26, 1769, Schoritz bei Gartz, Rügen, Swed.—died Jan. 29, 1860, Bonn, Ger.) was a prose writer, poet, and patriot who expressed the national awakening in his country in the Napoleonic era. Arndt was educated at Stralsund, Greifswald, and Jena and qualified for the Lutheran ministry.

Ernst Moritz Arndt (26 de diciembre de 1769 - 29 de enero de 1860) fue un historiador, escritor y poeta nacionalista alemán. Al principio de su vida, luchó por la abolición de la servidumbre, más tarde contra el dominio napoleónico sobre Alemania.
