Eugene Scalia (born August 14, 1963) is an American lawyer who served as the 28th United States Secretary of Labor during the final 16 months of the Trump administration from 2019 to 2021. Scalia previously served as the United States Solicitor of Labor under President George W. Bush.
Eugene Scalia is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, co-chair of the firm’s Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice Group, and a senior member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group and Financial Institutions Practice Group.
