26 de abr. de 2022 · Francis Bland was the elder son of Sir John Bland, 1st Baronet of Kippax Park, and his wife Rosamond Neville. He was born c.1642 and died at the age of 21, on Nov. 14, 1663. He was buried at Kippax Church, Kippax, near Leeds, Yorkshire. He married Jane Lowther c.1660. She was the daughter of Sir William Lowther, Knight, and his wife Jane Busfield.
Bland was born the youngest son of Francis Maltby Bland, DL, JP, and his wife Edith Richenda Bland (née Barclay). His maternal uncle Sir George Barclay had been the British Minister in Bucharest during the First World War. His siblings included brothers Hugh Michael and Francis Lawrence Bland, and sisters Edith Richenda ("Chenda") and Esther.
