Francis Armand Bland, CMG (24 August 1882 – 9 April 1967) was an Australian politician. Life and career. Born in Sydney, Bland was educated at state schools at Greigs Flat, Peakhurst and Kogarah and then at the University of Sydney. He became a New South Wales public servant, and then a lecturer at the University of Sydney in 1913.

Francis Bland Tucker (January 6, 1895 – January 1, 1984) was an American Bible scholar, priest and hymn writer. Early and family life. Born in Norfolk, Virginia in 1895, Bland Tucker became the youngest of 13 children (several of whom died as infants).
26 de abr. de 2022 · Francis Bland was the elder son of Sir John Bland, 1st Baronet of Kippax Park, and his wife Rosamond Neville. He was born c.1642 and died at the age of 21, on Nov. 14, 1663. He was buried at Kippax Church, Kippax, near Leeds, Yorkshire. He married Jane Lowther c.1660.

20 de nov. de 2017 · Her father, Francis Bland, was the son of a vicar-general and Prerogative Court judge in Dublin. Her mother, Grace Phillips, who acted on the Irish stage, was the daughter of a Welsh rector. The family lived in Ireland, so it is unclear why they were in London for her birth.
In 1951, Francis Bland took the Paragould Youth Baseball Program (which was out of money and had no sponsors) and formed a four team league. By 1953, they had a thriving baseball program. In this same year, Mr. Bland and two other men from the State of Arkansas joined together to charter the first two Arkansas Babe Ruth Leagues.
