Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir presumptive to the Austro-Hungarian throne, and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, were assassinated on 28 June 1914 by Bosnian Serb student Gavrilo Princip.

28 de abr. de 2024 · Und das wäre auch sicherlich ganz im Sinne von Gebhard Leberecht Fürst Blücher von Wahlstatt (1742 – 1819). Blücher, genannt „Marschall Vorwärts“, war einer der beeindrucktesten Heerführer der Befreiungskriege. Das Denkmal wurde vor mehr als einhundert Jahren auf dem Wilhelmplatz, dem heutigen Blücherplatz, eingeweiht.
