Frederick of Zweibrücken-Vohenstrauss-Parkstein (German: Friedrich) (11 April 1557 – 17 December 1597) was the Duke of Vohenstrauss-Parkstein from 1569 until 1597. Life. Frederick was born in Meisenheim in 1557 as the fourth son of Wolfgang, Count Palatine of Zweibrücken.

Palatinate-Zweibrücken-Vohenstrauss-Parkstein was created in 1569 out of the partition of the territories of Wolfgang of Palatinate-Zweibrücken for his fourth son Frederick. Frederick died in 1597 without heirs so Vohenstrauss-Parkstein was inherited by Palatinate-Neuburg .

Frederick of Palatinate-Zweibrücken-Vohenstrauß-Parkstein was born in Meisenheim in 1557 as the fourth son of Count Palatine Wolfgang of Zweibrücken and Neuburg (1526-1569). In 1581 he took over his part of his father’s inheritance. He was married to Katharina Sophia (1561-1608), the daughter of Duke Heinrich XI of Liegnitz-Brieg (1539-1588).
