Namnteckning. Heraldiskt vapen. Redigera Wikidata. Prins Fredrik, prins av Wales ( Fredrik Ludvig; tyska: Friedrich Ludwig; engelska: Frederick Louis ), född 1 februari 1707 i Hannover, död 31 mars 1751 i London, var en brittisk tronföljare. Han var son till kung Georg II och Caroline av Ansbach.
As Prince of Wales, George II considered a scheme for excluding Frederick from the English throne and sending him to rule Hanover so that George's second son, William, could succeed him as King. Frederick was neglected and despised by his parents so he found his friends in opposition circles where he was used as a means of attacking the government and monarchy.

Frederick Lewis, prince of Wales (1707–51). Eldest son of George II and Queen Caroline; father of George III. For most of his life Frederick was at odds with his parents, and by the mid-1730s he had become a willing tool of opposition politicians, hopeful of serving him when he became king.
