13 de may. de 2024 · Frederik IX ( Danish: Christian Frederik Franz Michael Carl Valdemar Georg; 11 March 1899 – 14 January 1972) was King of Denmark from 1947 to 1972. [3] Born into the House of Glücksburg, Frederik was the elder son of King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine. He became crown prince when his father succeeded as king in 1912.
14 de may. de 2024 · He was the eldest son of the reigning Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Frederick Francis IV, and his wife Princess Alexandra of Hanover, a daughter of the Crown Prince of Hanover. Friedrich Franz joined the SS and promoted to Hauptsturmführer (Captain) by 1936. During WWII he worked at the German embassy as a personal aide to Werner Best.

Both coffins were relocated during World War II and ended up in the prince's castle in what became West Germany .
