Mentioned in Despatches (2) Frederick Temple Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, 3rd Marquess of Dufferin and Ava, DSO, PC (Ire) (26 February 1875 – 21 July 1930), styled Lord Frederick Blackwood between 1888 and 1918, was a British soldier and politician. He died in an aircraft crash in 1930 at the age of 55.
Biography Irish statesman and diplomat; born Frederick Temple Blackwood, he succeeded his father as 5th Baron Dufferin and Claneboye (1841). Familie. Frederick war das einzige Kind von Price Blackwood, 4. Baron Dufferin and Claneboye, und dessen Gemahlin Helen Selina Sheridan. 1862 änderte er nach seiner Eheschließung mit Harriet Georgiana Rowan-Hamilton (1847–1936) seinen Namen mit königlicher Erlaubnis von Blackwood in Hamilton-Blackwood, zehn Jahre später dann nochmals in Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood.
