  1. Frederick V Louis William Christian, Landgrave of Hesse-Homburg (30 January 1748, Bad Homburg vor der Höhe – 20 January 1820, Bad Homburg vor der Höhe) was from 1751 to his death landgrave of Hesse-Homburg.

  2. It was created by Duke Ludwig V for his younger brother Frederick in 1622. Like the rulers of the other cadet branches, the Hessen-Homburger rulers held the title of landgrave, but they were junior members of the House of Hesse with no real power outside their own lands.
