Fredric March (born Ernest Frederick McIntyre Bickel; August 31, 1897 – April 14, 1975) was an American actor, regarded as one of Hollywood's most celebrated stars of the 1930s and 1940s. As a performer he was known for his versatility.
Fredric March. Actor: Inherit the Wind. Fredric March began a career in banking but in 1920 found himself cast as an extra in films being produced in New York. He starred on the Broadway stage first in 1926 and would return there between screen appearances later on.

Fue uno de los rostros más representativos del cine estadounidense de los años treinta y cuarenta; su presencia camaleónica le permitió dar vida a toda clase de personajes a lo largo de cincuenta años de profesión.
Después de aparecer como principal protagonista en títulos como “La Loca Orgía” (1929), un film realizado por la directora Dorothy Arzner que contaba con la presencia femenina de Clara Bow, March se convirtió en una de las principales estrellas masculinas de la década de los 30.

One of the greatest stars of the 30's, Fredric March was excellent and prolific and made many excellent movies in the decade. His transition to the 40's through the 70's even. including The Best Years of Our Lives, Death of a Saleman, and Inherit the Wind. Just flawless was the great Fredric March.
