The 2010 French Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 114th edition of the French Open, and the second Grand Slam event of the year. It took place at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France, from 23 May through 6 June 2010. Roger Federer and Svetlana Kuznetsova were the defending champions.

Rafael Nadal defeated Robin Söderling in the final, 6–4, 6–2, 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2010 French Open. It was his fifth French Open title and his seventh major title overall.

In the final, he even manages to exact his revenge on Robin Söderling who had inflicted his first – and to this day only – defeat at Roland Garros the previous year.
