Morizkirche (or Stadtkirche St. Moriz) is a Protestant church dedicated to Saint Maurice in Coburg, Bavaria, Germany, and is the town's oldest church. Its earliest remaining structures date back to the 14th century, which superseded a church from the 12th century.
Sophie of Sweden. Alexandrine of Baden (Alexandrine Luise Amalie Friederike Elisabeth Sophie; 6 December 1820 – 20 December 1904) was Duchess of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha from 29 January 1844 to 22 August 1893 as the wife of Duke Ernest II. She was the eldest child of Leopold, Grand Duke of Baden, and his wife Princess Sophie of Sweden .
Den westlichen Zugang zum Salvatorfriedhof beziehungsweise zur Salvatorkirche bildet ein Portal mit einer Christusfigur. Der Friedhof wurde nach der Eröffnung des Friedhofs am Glockenberg 1856 aufgelassen und ist seit 1984 ein Park. Die spätgotische Saalkirche, 22,8 Meter lang und 11 Meter breit, besitzt einen dreiseitig geschlossenen Chor.

Facts and practical information. The cemetery on the Glockenberg is the burial place of the city of Coburg. The western part of the cemetery was established from 1847 to 1851 on the upper Glockenberg hill as a replacement for the Salvator cemetery. From 1868 to 1869 the extension east of the street Hinterer Glockenberg followed.
