Furness College. Furness College is the fifth college of the Lancaster University. Planning of the college started in 1966 when a 12-person planning committee chaired by Professor Reynolds (founding dean of Furness) was established to design the buildings and faculties of the college.

About. You don’t have to take our word for it, Furness is the best college on campus! As the smallest college in the university, around 400 students join every year as Freshers, meaning we offer a small and close knit sense of family and belonging.
