Georg Karl Frederick (24 July 1796 in Hildburghausen – 3 August 1853 in Hummelshain) was a duke of Saxe-Altenburg . Family. He was the fourth but second surviving son of Frederick, Duke of Saxe-Hildburghausen (of Saxe-Altenburg from 1826) and Duchess Charlotte Georgine of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
George, Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe (10 October 1846 – 29 April 1911) was the ruler of the small Principality of Schaumburg-Lippe within the German Empire from 1893 to 1911, succeeding his father Adolf I, and being succeeded by his son Adolf II. George in 1862 at 16 years old.

Johann Georg was born in Halle on 25 June 1677 to Johann Adolf I, Duke of Saxe-Weissenfels and his first wife, Johanna Magdalena of Saxe-Altenburg. [1] . He succeeded his father upon Johann Adolf's death on 24 May 1697.
