Biographie. M., der einer Juristenfamilie entstammte, wuchs zusammen mit sechs Geschwistern in Frankfurt/Oder auf; 1866 starb sein Vater an der Cholera. Nach dem Abitur 1876 studierte er Rechtswissenschaft in Breslau, Leipzig und Würzburg. 1879 legte er in Breslau das 1. Staatsexamen ab und begann seine Referendarzeit in Frankfurt/Oder.
September: Georg Michaelis wird als Sohn des Richters Paul Michaelis und seiner Frau Henriette (geb. von Tschirschky-Boegendorff) in Haynau (Schlesien) geboren. Er wächst in Frankfurt/Oder auf. 1866. Sein Vater stirbt an der Cholera. 1876. Nach bestandenem Abitur studiert er Rechtswissenschaft in Breslau, Leipzig und Würzburg. 1879.
