  1. George Beauclerk, 3rd Duke of St Albans (25 June 1730 – 1 February 1786), styled Earl of Burford until 1751, was a British peer. Early life. He was the son of Charles Beauclerk, 2nd Duke of St Albans, and his wife, Lucy Werden.

  3. Hace 5 días · George Beauclerk, 3rd Duke of St Albans. He was the only son of Charles and Lucy and was buried 11th March 1786 in the Duke of Ormond's vault in Henry VII's chapel. His name is inscribed on the stone over that vault. He married Jane Roberts but had no legitimate children.

  4. He a great grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland. On 27 Jul 1751 [his father] Charles Beauclerk 2nd Duke St Albans (age 55) died. He was buried at Westminster Abbey [Map]. His son George Beauclerk 3rd Duke St Albans (age 21) succeeded 3rd Duke St Albans, 3rd Earl Burford, 3rd Baron Heddington.

  7. 14 de nov. de 2021 · By marrying Lady Diana, in 1694, the 1 st duke of Saint Albans was emulating his half-brothers who also married great aristocratic heiresses, and usually took on their surname (and in fact subsequent heirs of the Duke would be called De Vere Beauclerk, and added the very simple De Vere pattern to their coat of arms).
