3 de may. de 2024 · The Burghley estate was endowed to the Burghley House Preservation Trust upon the death of David George Brownlow Cecil, an Olympic runner and 6th marquess of Exeter, in 1981. Parts of the house and estate are open to the public, while the house remains occupied by a member of the Cecil family , who also serves as director of the trust .
