George William Coventry, 9th Earl of Coventry, PC, DL (9 May 1838 – 13 March 1930), styled Viscount Deerhurst from November 1838 until 1843, was a British Conservative politician.

The earldom of Coventry was created for the first time in 1623, in the Peerage of England, in favour of George Villiers, 1st Marquess of Buckingham. He was made Duke of Buckingham at the same time. The title became extinct in 1687 upon the death of George Villiers, 2nd Duke of Buckingham .

George William Coventry, 9th Earl of Coventry. George William Coventry was born in 1838, the son of George William, Viscount Deerhurst, and Harriet Cockerell. Both his parents had died by 1842 and in the same year, when he was only four years of age, he inherited the earldom from his grandfather William, 8th Earl of Coventry.
