George Edward Moore (* 4. November 1873 in London; † 24. Oktober 1958 in Cambridge) war ein englischer Philosoph. Er wurde gemeinsam mit Bertrand Russell und Ludwig Wittgenstein, und in der Nachfolge von Gottlob Frege, zu einem der Väter der analytischen Philosophie .
George Edward Moore (normalmente conocido como G. E. Moore) (1873 – 1958) fue un filósofo inglés del siglo XX. GEORGE EDWARD MOORE, noted epistemologist, moral philosopher, and "ordinary language" philosopher, was born on November 4, 1873, in Upper Norwood, London. He was educated at Dulwich College at the University of Cambridge, where he specialized in the classics until turn-ing his attention to philosophy.
