Alexander II (Georgian: ალექსანდრე II; died April 1, 1510) was a king of Georgia in 1478 and of Imereti from 1483 to 1510. Son of Bagrat VI of Georgia , he briefly succeeded his father in 1478 during the Georgian civil war of 1463–1491 which divided the kingdom into several independent states.

Parnaoz's active involvement in the politics of his country came with the accession of his half-brother, George XII, to the throne of Kartli and Kakheti after the death of Heraclius II in 1798. George reversed the rule of succession approved in 1791 by Heraclius under the influence of Queen Darejan, requiring the king's successor to pass the throne not to his offspring, but to his eldest brother.
Kata or Katay ( Georgian: კატა, კატაჲ) was a daughter of David IV, King of Georgia. She was married off by her father into the Byzantine imperial family c. 1116, but the identity of her husband is not revealed in the medieval sources. There are three modern hypotheses regarding her marriage.

He was the son of Ludwig V and Magdalene of Brandenburg . He married Sophia Eleonore of Saxony on 1 April 1627.
