George Neville, 1st Baron Latimer or ( Latymer) (died 30 December 1469) was an English nobleman. Life. George Neville was born c.1406-1407 as the fifth son of Ralph Neville, 1st Earl of Westmorland, by his second wife Joan Beaufort, daughter of John of Gaunt.
26 de abr. de 2022 · George Neville, 1st Baron Latimer or (Latymer) (c. 1407 – 30 December 1469) was an English peer. George Neville was the fifth son of Ralph de Neville, 1st Earl of Westmorland, by his second wife Lady Joan Beaufort, daughter of John of Gaunt, 1st Duke of Lancaster.
He left his lands to his half-brother, Ralph de Neville, 1st Earl of Westmorland, although he was not descended from the Latimers. The Earl died in 1425, and the lands were passed on to George Neville, one of his younger sons, who was summoned to Parliament as Baron Latimer (second creation).

George Neville, 1st Baron Latimer succeeded to the Latymer estates on the death of his half-uncle John Neville, 6th Baron Latimer (half-brother of George's father, Ralph Neville, 1st Earl of Westmorland) in 1430, and on 25 February 1432 he was summoned to Parliament as Baron Latimer.
