George Walpole, 3rd Earl of Orford (2 April 1730 – 5 December 1791), was a British administrator, politician, and peer . Life. Lord Orford was the only child of the 2nd Earl of Orford and his wife Margaret Rolle, who was Baroness Clinton in her own right. His parents separated shortly after his birth.

Earl of Orford is a title that has been created three times. The first creation came in the Peerage of England in 1697 when the naval commander Admiral of the Fleet Edward Russell was made Earl of Orford, in the County of Suffolk.

Biography. Grandson of Robert Walpole, 1st Earl of Orford (q.v.); 1751, succeeded his father as 2nd Baron Walpole of Walpole and 3rd Earl of Orford; 1773, declared insane.
Coat of Arms of George Walpole, 3rd Earl of Orford. Armorial with motto, "Fari quae Sentiat" supported by rampant stags, with a crown at top, and a head wearing a Phrygian cap. On the death of his father, the 2nd Earl, in 1751, George Walpole succeeded as 3rd Earl of Orford.
