27 de nov. de 2023 · In 1228 Gilbert de Gant claimed 8 hides in Stanton against Agnes, who pleaded she only held in dower. The Gants did not regain possession. Richard Earl of Pembroke forfeited his lands for rebellion and Gervaise died without issue, so that on the death of Agnes the manor seems again to have escheated to the crown.
