Gordonstoun School is a co-educational independent school for boarding and day pupils in Moray, Scotland. It is named after the 150-acre (61 ha) estate owned by Sir Robert Gordon in the 17th century; the school now uses this estate as its campus.
Gordonstoun is one of the UK’s top independent schools for boarding and day pupils aged 4 ½ to 18. Gordonstoun has been the world leader in character education for over 80 years and was the birthplace of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Unlike many other Schools the fees cover virtually everything in Gordonstoun’s very broad curriculum including expeditions and sail training and most weekend activities for boarders. 'Chargeable extras’ include things like uniform, individual music lessons and one off excursions like a Sport or Music Tour. There are three terms per year:
