Gordonstoun is one of the leading full boarding schools in the UK. Our buildings are set within a safe and beautiful 200 acre wooded campus, within walking distance of the expansive beaches of the Moray Firth, and within easy reach of the stunning Scottish Highlands. Our forward-thinking School has a fascinating past and much of what has been pioneered here has become part of mainstream education. Gordonstoun educated three generations of the British Royal Family.

Gordonstoun is one of the UK’s top independent schools for boarding and day pupils aged 4 ½ to 18. Our school was voted the best boarding school in the UK in 2021 and described as 'outstanding' and 'sector-leading' in its most recent inspection. Gordonstoun has been the world leader in character education for over 80 years and was the birthplace of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
Day. £17,705. £12,865. Overnight boarding for day pupils, subject to availability, costs £68.00 per night in addition to the day fee. Unlike many other Schools the fees cover virtually everything in Gordonstoun’s very broad curriculum including expeditions and sail training and most weekend activities for boarders.
