Great West End Theatres is the first series of its kind, originally planned to document all 40 of London’s theatres, 10 of which are now available. A carefully researched and well-written history of the best London has to offer, it is also a backstage pass onto the finest stages in the world.
The Arts Theatre is London’s West End’s smallest. The theatre with the smallest capacity in the West End is the Arts Theatre, with just 350 seats. Coming in a close second and third are the Fortune Theatre, which has a capacity of 440, and Ambassadors Theatre, which holds 450 seats.
