  6. Philip ap Elidir Ddû was born in 1320, in Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, Wales as the son of Sir Elidyr Ddû and Cecil ferch Sitsyllt. He married Gwladus Verch Dafydd Frax in 1357, in Carmarthenshire, Wales. They were the parents of at least 5 sons. He died in 1425, in his hometown, at the age of 105.
