Hans Karl von Winterfeldt (4 April 1707 – 8 September 1757), a Prussian general, served in the War of the Polish Succession, the War of Austrian Succession, Frederick the Great's Silesian wars and the Seven Years' War. One of Frederick's trusted confidantes and advisors, he attracted enmity from other courtiers.
Hans Karl von Winterfeldt (* 4. April 1707 in Vanselow; † 8. September 1757 in Görlitz) war ein preußischer Generalleutnant unter Friedrich dem Großen. Er kämpfte in den Schlesischen Kriegen und starb an den Folgen einer Verwundung in der Schlacht von Moys. Winterfeldt gehört zu den bedeutenden Feldherren seiner Zeit.
Hans von Winterfeldt was born on March 29, 1862, and died in 1931. He was the son of Rudolf von Winterfeldt and Pauline von Roeder. He served in the Imperial German Army, attending the Kriegschule from 1891 to 1894, and rising to the rank of Lieutenant General.

Biographie. Winterfeldt: Hans Karl von W., königlich preußischer Generallieutenant, wurde am 4. April 1707 auf dem väterlichen Gute Vanselow in Vorpommern geboren. Sein Jugendunterricht, welchen er zuerst durch Hauslehrer empfing, war mangelhaft; der spätere Besuch der Stadtschule in Güstrow änderte darin wenig.
