Harry Horner (July 24, 1910 – December 5, 1994) was a Czech-born American art director who made a successful career in Hollywood as an Oscar-winning art director and as a feature film and television director. He was the father of Academy Award-winning film composer James Horner.

Harry Horner (24 de julio de 1910 - 5 de diciembre de 1994) fue un director de arte estadounidense nacido en Austria-Hungría que hizo una exitosa carrera en Hollywood como director de arte ganador de un Oscar y como director de cine y televisión.
Harry Horner was born in Bohemia (now Czech Republic), but spent most of his early life in Austria. In 1934, he graduated from the University of Vienna with a degree in architecture. Along the way, he also managed to study dramatic arts, directing and costume design, making his stage debut as an actor with the Max Reinhardt Theatre Company.
In his sixty-year career Harry Horner worked and excelled as a designer, director, performer, writer, musical director and composer. He was certainly one of the most multi-talented art directors to find his way into this profession. HALL OF FAME - 2007. CREDITS: Continuity Design.
