The audience watching Rosemary’s Baby doesn’t think creepy, weird things can happen in the daytime and Polanski fools them. Similarly, Hawk films this part of his comedy in darkness.
Po should be far lower honestly, he's not really super talented in traditional kung fu and throughout the films he's shown to be less skilled than the five, his strength mainly comes from inner peace, chi, and general immunity towards most kung fu moves.
